The Challenge & Our Plan

Directly in the Path of Clearance

We have received official notice that Mohammadia Masjid is directly in the path of a government 24-meter road widening project. As shown by the official Pune Municipal Corporation notice and images below, the roads are already being dug up, and the marking clearly cuts into the Masjid property. To save it from complete demolition, we must act immediately to reorganise and rebuild.

Our Reconstruction Goals (~1 Crore INR Budget):

  • Secure the structure against the road widening impact.
  • Construct a proper staircase for safe access.
  • Build a dedicated Wazu (ablution) area and additional toilets.
  • Construct an additional floor for a spacious Namaz area.
